Service(s) description | EBAC offers place-based, comprehensive continuum of services that are culturally relevant, linguistically appropriate and continuously trauma-informed. Our Oakland-based services include: 1) School-based Support Services (afterschool programming, health center, therapy, therapeutic nursery school) 2) Family Support Services (family resource centers & grief & loss support) 3) Community Education (child assault prevention, early childhood services) 4) Youth Empowerment Services (youth justice) |
Program impact | Our Short-term Outcomes: *Reduced exposure to health risks and improved access to public supports. *Reduced impact of childhood adversity and social inequities *Increased evidence of protective factors for children and families served Our Long-term Impact: *Incidence and impact of childhood trauma and adverse experiences will be greatly reduced in the East Bay. |
