| Program Description | The West Oakland Initiative is a neighborhood-specific, collaborative impact effort between school sites, parents and community partners. The purpose of WOI is to reduce and/or close the academic achievement gap that exists for West Oakland students by providing meaningful, educational engagement opportunities for children and families, that focuses on literacy, social-emotional skill development, and parent empowerment. |
