Program DescriptionOakland Serves addresses a critical problem in our city of Oakland: the alarming number of high school students who drop out before earning a diploma, closing the door on opportunities for well- paying jobs or further education. We work with students identified as being at highest risk of dropping out, helping them persist to graduation and thereby improving their career prospects, their personal well-being, and the quality of life in the community.
