| Program Description | Support Life Foundation has developed a model of action, which includes recruiting students from local colleges and universities, and have them pass through the Oakland Unified School District’s vetting procedure in order to serve as teaching assistants and tutors. They will operate strictly within the physical space of the classroom under a teaching instructor’s direction and supervision during classroom hours. The said school will have its program internally managed by its students’ counselors, who will allocate and prepare the schedule of student volunteers to the said targeted students. |
