| Program Description | Jazz in Session, highlights the musicianship required in jazz performance and provides hands-on instrumental instruction and support to in-school music programs. Jazz in Session works closely with partner schools to address the most significant musical needs of students and band directors, cultivating the development of long-term music-making and teamwork skills for those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to individual instrument instruction. Participants also enjoy free concert tickets to SFJAZZ shows and in-school performances by renowned artists. |
