| Program Description | La Clinica provides preventive dental treatment to all student that enroll in the program. The treatment provided is at no cost to the student or family. Part of the program includes referral services for completion of treatment with one of our clinics or partner FQHC's. Schools assigned to La Clinica: Garfield Elementary and Fruitvale Elementary. Preventive treatment served at the schools: -Dental Exam and X-rays. -Tooth cleaning and application of fluoride varnish. -Dental Sealants on qualified permanent molars. -Preventive Resin Restorations that do not require anesthetic. -One on one Oral health education. Show tell due of tools for at home care; Toothbrush, floss, other tools and information associated with dental health. |
