| Service(s) description | Camp Phoenix campers participate in common-core aligned math and literacy groups with a 3 to1 camper to staff ratio, ensuring that each students’ needs are met. Other activities focus on outdoor education, and building social-emotional skills. Our program enables campers to thrive throughout their education and beyond by ensuring they are academically prepared for the rigors of middle and high school, have a defining experience that drives their passions and daily decisions and develop and foster critical hope for their own futures and community. |
| Program impact | Achievement: • Campers on average gained over 2 months of learning in math and reading as a result of our program • Over 95% of campers reported having greater confidence in themselves, in their math and reading ability, & in their understanding of their strengths & improvement areas. • Greenleaf Principal Cameron Stephenson said about the results of our program, “Camp Phoenix did not disappoint! The students who attended the camp came back in the Fall raring to go.
