| Service(s) description | Points of Light (POL) is a dynamic Youth Ministry that inspires the youth of Oakland and mentors the students in their relationships with God. Every week the POL pastors engage in evangelistic and discipleship endeavors. Whether it's visiting the youth at their homes or preaching on the streets, the POL pastors are constantly giving to the youth of Oakland. |
| Program impact | THE IMPACT 1000+ youth contacts are made every week, over 52,000 a year! 1,000’s of youth and children commit their lives to Christ each year through our program and our outreaches. 100 youth and children have been discipled in Leadership Development Starting 2014 up until today we have been involved in both soccer and football programs being able to provide support, biblical teaching, and mentoring for anyone who needs it. 100+ youth have left the gang lifestyle and gone on to serve as pillars in their communities, as well as leaders in in POL & MB. Through our SLICE & Kids Club Programs over 700 kids are reached a week with a message of hope. Through our weekly visitations we are reaching youth, children, & their families with the love of Jesus Christ. With creativity and perseverance we are meeting, praying over, or discipling over 400 people a week! |
