Organization Description
| Service(s) description | Diversity in Health Training Institute (DHTI), through our Sidra Community Wellness Program, will provide one-on-one preventive counseling, support groups, educational workshops, community events and promotional materials to support the wellness and mental health of students, in particular Middle Eastern and North African students and families in Oakland Unified School District. DHTI will also offer consultations to school staff and teachers about how to be culturally responsive and supportive with Middle Eastern and North African students and families. As part of the work, DHTI will support students and families with applicable referrals to additional social and mental health services as well. |
