| Service(s) description | We offer afterschool and summer classes and camps at a number of schools in Oakland, Orinda and Moraga. These are primarily geared for elementary schools, though we do have middle schools campers during the summer. We offer offer high quality drama and storytelling programs. Classes and camps include work on a production which is presented to families at the end of each trimester/semester or summer session, as well as creative drama and storytelling activities. |
| Program impact | Children have the opportunity to rehearse and present a play at the end of each session. This is a creative and collaborative process that requires teamwork, focus and imagination. The children get to explore various characters through role playing and theater games, and is a highly creative, fun and engaging process. They experience a great sense of satisfaction at the end of the production, and feedback from parents is almost always extremely positive. |
