Organization Description

Service(s) descriptionMOCHA is committed to providing quality hands-on art experiences for children and their families. A pioneer in arts education, MOCHA's school-based programs include artists-in-residence, after-school art classes and field trips to our museum. We also provide professional development training sessions to educators and teachers so arts may be integrated into their curriculum and school culture.
Program impactWe strengthen our community by nurturing young people’s creativity, curiosity and educational success through hands-on arts programming in schools, community sites, and our museum. Evaluation results indicate that MOCHA is successfully achieving program goals with 95% of students demonstrating gains and/or progression with arts standards, and 90% showing an increased ability to come up with solutions to challenges or problems.
