Service(s) description | Ujimaa provides comprehensive and culturally relevant after-school programming as a lead agency for our school sites. Services entails Academic Support (homework, skill-building), Enrichment (martial arts, art, science, nutrition, and more), and plenty of off-site excursions. We also provide character building workshops and skill building activities for gender specific groups. |
Program impact | Ujimaa alumni will testify that our programs create an alternate reality in which they have developed higher levels of self-worth, pride in cultural heritage, and knowledge of how to obtain material success. |
