| Program Description | Provide students with an overview of organic, sustainable farming, how food is grown and harvested and interaction of farms with the natural world. Offer students a history of the area including Muwekma, Mission, Ranchero and statehood periods and how each group managed the land. Explain the importance of watersheds in maintaining clean water and soils for healthy food. |
