| Program Description | Clay explorations provides a learning environment that allows and develops basic skills of ceramics using handbuilding techniques and glazes. We combine the curriculum with assigned projects and open projects for the students to learn as many skills such as hand building which includes slab, coils and pinch pots. The students also learn the process of low fire glazing. The class provides a community of makers that share their ideas and skills. Clay explorations incorporates drawing, clay, innovation and fun. |
